As stated in my previous POST, i’ll be out-of-town for the next couple of or more weeks. In preparation thereof, (presuming i’ll be stuck in the entertainment room again just like last year doing DVD marathon while others are merrymaking outdoor, haha) im collecting high-rated movies. If you also love watching movies as much i do, don’t just pick out any dvd which ,to your personal judgment, seems worth your time, money and electricity. Before going out to meet with DVD peddlers, (by peddlers, i didn’t mean pirates haha. I don’t condone nor promote piracy), i propose you make a list first and in doing so, consult IMDB site or those that do movie reviews. Take note of the rating made by those who had seen the movie. This will save you from buying a low-budget, boring movie which seemed a great one in the trailer. Actually, great fraction of their budget was utilized for the production of the trailer alone. That explains why it seemed good in the trailer but actually not in the rest of movie. No, you’re wrong - im not referring to the film “the day the earth stood still” haha.
If you liked the movie “I am Legend” and “Pursuit of Happiness”, i bet, you will love Will Smith’s latest movie “Seven Pounds”. Hey, i am not doing this for advertisement. Shoot me straight in the head if you’ll not like this movie (of course im kidding, okay just a gentle slap, hehe). Go to your cardiologist if you don’t weep while watching this movie. Okay here’s my brief digest/summary of the story: (more…)
Have you seen the movie Four Christmases starred by Vince Vaughn? It’s all about a couple trying to fly away from their family for Christmas, as they do every year. Their fun turns around when all flights have been canceled. Now they have to go to four houses to celebrate Christmas while going through memories they don’t want to go into and suprises they can’t handle while they have to use a safe word to get out of situations. Their respective parents are separated thus the couples have to visit his father, her mother, his mother and her father all in one day. Hence, the title Four Christmases (spoiler, i know haha)
I, too, will have four Christmases. My Christmas break will commence tomorrow. (more…)
As a brief RECAP of this week on Prison Break, as Michael underwent surgery to remove his brain tumor, Lincoln sought to steal back Scylla, Mahone made his way off the custody of the two Feds.
Kranz offers Lincoln a “one call does it all” card, and an “accomplice” — the guy with the fake hand, as Gretchen’s sister would say. Linc meets up with T-Bag, then uses pliers and one yanked tooth to get what he needs, the location of the drop Self and Gretch were headed to.
In the back seat of Felicia and Agent Aryan’s G-car, Alex expresses a need to pee, and even cites the law/code which dictates that his bladder must be obliged. Agent Aryan in turn reminds Mahone of his right to shoot an attempted escapee in the back of the head. They pull over, Felicia scouts out the john. All clear. Alex uses his 15 seconds (15 seconds?!) to grab a piece of pipe. Later, back on the road, Alex smashes the back window, opens the door and tumbles onto the soft roadside. The chase is on! (more…)
Linc decides he’s got to do anything it takes to get Michael back, so he walks into Company HQ. The General shows him Michael being prepared for surgery, then tells Linc that he can help Michael — if Linc gets Scylla back for him. Linc has to work for the Company now, just like his dad did. The General told Lincoln that it would be hard working for him then he hands over a dossier: Tombstone II which the General tagged it as an “added incentive”.
What does Tombstone II mean? A lot of excited fans began speculating about what is contained in Tombstone II.
A fan, who is trying to be funny said the Tombstone II contains “Free tickets to disneyland” lol.
Another fan opined that: “tombstone II” sounds like somebody - maybe Michael’s and/or Linc’s mom’s (or I wonder if it could be their dad’s) grave as if to suggest that one of them is a fake and has something important being burried there. Or perhaps it contains information about how to access her mom’s safe deposit box in the bank. (more…)
On the rooftop Michael pulls a gun on Self and leads him into the warehouse. Gretchen walks in with her gun loaded and Sara pulls another on Self.
