As a brief RECAP of this week on Prison Break, as Michael underwent surgery to remove his brain tumor, Lincoln sought to steal back Scylla, Mahone made his way off the custody of the two Feds.
Kranz offers Lincoln a “one call does it all” card, and an “accomplice” — the guy with the fake hand, as Gretchen’s sister would say. Linc meets up with T-Bag, then uses pliers and one yanked tooth to get what he needs, the location of the drop Self and Gretch were headed to.
In the back seat of Felicia and Agent Aryan’s G-car, Alex expresses a need to pee, and even cites the law/code which dictates that his bladder must be obliged. Agent Aryan in turn reminds Mahone of his right to shoot an attempted escapee in the back of the head. They pull over, Felicia scouts out the john. All clear. Alex uses his 15 seconds (15 seconds?!) to grab a piece of pipe. Later, back on the road, Alex smashes the back window, opens the door and tumbles onto the soft roadside. The chase is on!
Felicia traps Mahone, but he tells her she’ll have to shoot him to stop him. He runs, she fires .. but intentionally misses, and then sends her partner in the wrong direction.
In a dreamy version of his Fox River cell, Michael meets up with Charles Westmoreland (and cat). It’s a largely wasted “reunion” devoid of actual Season 1 memories. Instead, D.B. is there to repeatedly advise Michael, “Not everything is as it seems” as Scofield studies a wall full of clippings and photos from his seasons-long travels.
The good guys, bad guys and badder guy rendezvous in a warehouse to make the trade. As Salt ‘N Pepper Guy vets Scylla, Self realizes it contains much more than just an address book. Gunplay ensues, leaving Self wounded and Salt ‘N Pepper on the loose with Scylla.
Michael flashes back to the meeting of the cardholders he witnessed — except this time there is audio, and the word BARGAIN gets tossed around. Michael glimpses a table of elements, and ding! All the brain activity makes him flatline, but a heap of Sara love makes him come to. An amazing short time after, his noodle is churning, and he ties Scylla/BARGAIN into some sort of infinitely renewable solar energy initiative. (And just like that, an address book sounds exciting.) Maybe the Company isn’t the bad guys after all?
Or, as Sara pensively pondered, “They’re not protecting the past, they’re protecting the future. Wow.”
Sucre and Linc part ways, amicably, agreeing to meet down at the scuba shop someday. And there is this week’s goodbye to an original cast member. I just hope Sucre will not be gone forever just like just like what they did to Bellick’s character.
A new “team” was created to track down Salt ‘N pepper Guy — Gretchen, Self and I think T-Bag. Before he embarks on his mission, Linc clues in Michael — their mother worked for the Company before she died. “I’m just moving on to the family business,” the lug shrugs.
Now who has an idea about BARGAIN which is, according to Michael, an acronym for elements in the periodic table. These elements when combined with the solar energy will give off a power which may be utilized in the future for general consumption. If you have similar or different view about BARGAIN, please enlighten us.
